breed: Cross Lab/Terrier.
age: 4 years. (Cai is a rescue, we have had him 7 months now and he comes from Spain. He was found wandering the streets and rescued into nearby kennels where he sadly spent over 2.5 years. ☹ we rescued him off the “kill list”, which makes me shudder).

favourite treat: Cheese.
favourite cuddles: Lifts up his arms so you can rub his tummy.
favourite game: Jumping over the sofa while being chased.
what gets their tail wagging most? The word “walk”.
what job do cai and kim do? Kim is a pharmaceutical recruiter working for a specialist agency covering global markets. Cai is my “cheerleader” keeping me positive throughout the day even if things don’t always go to plan.
what was their first day in the office like? As my office is my home, he is very at ease. However the first day he felt a little upset as I wasn’t showing him attention all the time.
how often does cai go to the office? 5 days a week!
what is cai's favourite thing to do in the office? He loves to sleep anywhere where there is a sofa… one is in my office of which he now has decided is his.
does cai like sharing his office space? He likes to spread out so yes on occasion but he also loves his space. If you bother him while relaxing sometimes he will let out a huge sigh, which kind of means “please leave me be” - such a drama queen.
other than you (of course) who is cai's favourite colleague? As we are all on video, he sees a lot of people on Microsoft teams, his favourite is his “uncle” Sam who he recognises every time!
how has having cai at work improved the working environment? It really relaxes everyone and brings a smile to their faces. Also they can hear me sometimes talking to him in my silly dog voice which always gives a chuckle.
does cai ever get up to mischief/any embarrassing office stories? Yes, he has a few times been sick behind me on camera…. We then had a wasp incident which ended in me running around after him with the video still going shouting for him to leave the wasp alone. (Hand to face).
paws in home bonus question! how is cai coping with the UK on lockdown? He loves it, who wouldn’t, treats, hugs and love all day!
