As a Paws in Work Freelance Photographer you will be responsible for getting the perfect shots of all of our attendees and the puppies during our sessions and then uploading and editing those photos ready to deliver to our clients.

Selfies galore will be taken by our attendees, but nothing beats high-quality photos that really captures the magic of our puppy therapy sessions, giving staff a lasting memory of their best day at work, ever. That’s where we need your help!

The Role

Job Title: Freelance Photographer

Team: Creative

Reports to: Social Media and Content Manager

Payment: £100 per day for photography and editing. Travel expenses will be reimbursed

Location: Working across multiple locations in London/Greater London

Ability to commute/relocate: Must be able to attend all event locations when photography is required. The use of a vehicle may be helpful

Photography Shift Times: 9:00am - 3.00pm (Our events only run Monday to Friday)

Life at Paws in Work

Paws in Work are a specialist Puppy Therapy and Mental Health Training start-up that works with corporate clients to improve wellbeing within their workplace. We are the only licensed Puppy Therapy company in the UK and offer MHFA England accredited and bespoke mental health training courses and talks.

Our aim is ‘To Create A Better Life For People & Pups’ and our work is based around our three pillars:

  • Mental Health Education
  • Raising Awareness for Ethical Breeding in the UK

Your responsibilities as a Freelance Photographer:

  • Working across multiple locations in London/Greater London, Monday to Friday. You are required to find your own means of transport to the event location and arrive promptly at the time requested.

  • Capturing and editing high-quality imagery that will thrill our clients.

  • Being able to work closely to Paws in Work style guidelines.

  • Working quickly and efficiently, uploading content to tight deadlines.

Our ideal Freelance Photographer:

  • Be highly creative, with prior portrait capturing experience.
  • Have a strong creative portfolio online showcasing a good breadth of skill.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite for editing imagery.
  • Be able to add value with an understanding of different lens techniques.
  • Present a professional, enthusiastic, friendly, caring and can-do attitude.
  • Possess a positive service-oriented attitude towards all guests and employees.
  • A passion for dogs!
