designer / photographer - full time

We're looking for a Designer / Photographer to join us at Paws in Work and work in our expanding Creative department. You will be reporting to our bubbly Social Media and Creative Content Manager and be working on a host of adorable, fun and exciting content as well as being our go-to photographer at events.

The right candidate will have hands-on experience with social media design across channels such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and commercial experience working as part of a team. This person will spend roughly 30% of their time also at our events, photographing the adorable content you see on our platforms..... I know, pretty cute right!?

Motion graphics experience would also be advantageous although this is not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working with our Social Media and Creative Content Manager on specific briefs
  • Design across social media channels, social videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok Videos) and some motion design if possible
  • Following brand guidelines to create enticing content
  • Photographing at our events
  • Editing photos ready to deliver to clients
  • Working across existing templates with updated content
  • Working closely with the wider Marketing department across other campaigns

Requirements For The Role:

  • Previous experience is a must
  • Proven ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Produce high-quality, pixel-perfect work
  • Extremely organised, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Be able to commute to event locations with ease
  • Be social media obsessed and highly engaged on various platforms
  • Have a good eye on the entire media landscape
  • Ability to work at a good pace with clear instructions
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud specifically Photoshop and Illustrator and Lightroom
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro is a bonus

We are the only licensed Puppy Therapy company in the UK and offer MHFA England accredited and bespoke mental health training courses and talks. Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Must be able to attend all event locations when photography is required. Use of a vehicle is often needed.

Training provided

This role requires design and photography experience, however editing support can be provided to bring you up to our brand standards.
